Coinbase Account Setup – Step-by-Step – Outside India

Step 1: Visit Coinbase Website #

• Open your browser and go to https://www.coinbase.com

• Click on the Get Started or Sign Up button

Step 2: Fill in Your Details #

• Enter:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Email address

  • Password

• Tick the checkbox to agree to terms

• Click Create Account

Step 3: Verify Your Email #

• Go to your email inbox

• Open the email from Coinbase

• Click the verification link

Step 4: Secure Your Account #

• Enter your mobile number

• Coinbase will send a 6-digit code via SMS

• Enter the code to enable Two-Factor Authentication

Step 5: Verify Your Identity (KYC) #

• Enter personal info: date of birth, address, etc.

• Upload a photo of your ID (passport, driver’s license, or government ID)

• In some cases, you may need to take a selfie

Step 6: Add a Payment Method #

• Choose:

  • Bank account (higher limits)

  • Debit card (instant buys)

• Follow prompts to connect and verify
